The Westminster Specialist College (SPI) is a Private Limited Company incorporated under the Companies Act 2006 which is limited by guarantee. It was registered at Companies House on 7th December 2020. A Board of Directors are legally responsible for the company and ensure compliance. The Directors have delegated the strategic oversight to the College to the College Governing Board (CGB). The CGB are the guardians of the College and hold the Principal and leadership team to account. The Governance demonstrates the organisational structure and the committee structure.

The Board comprises 12 Members as follows:

• 1 Staff Member
• 1 Student Member
• 2 Associate Governors
• 1 Principal (Ex Officio)
• 2 Associated Governors

The Staff Members and the Student Members are elected by the staff and students respectively. The Principal is a member ex officio. The remaining 9 members are appointed from a variety of public and private sector backgrounds to ensure the breadth of experience to inform the strategic thinking of the Board.
